Limited Capacity seats available

While we gather for the 2017 Young Farmers Conference, our Members of Congress will be writing the next Farm Bill. The stakes for young farmers are extremely high. Whether you face the challenge of accessing affordable land, finding capital to start and grow your farm or reaching consumers and new markets, the Farm Bill impacts farmers in a wide variety of ways. In this workshop, staff from the National Young Farmers Coalition (NYFC) will break down the specific debates in Washington that impact young farmers, discuss how they relate to your farm and share ways to ensure that farmers' needs are represented in the Farm Bill. We'll also discuss other federal policies critical to young farmers, including healthcare, food safety and student loans, as well as share the results of NYFC's 2017 National Young Farmer Survey.
