Learn how to overcome legal barriers challenging your farm business. Jonathan Brown, the director of Pace Law School’s Food and Beverage Law Clinic, Jennifer Grossman, a member of the Natural Resource Defense Council’s regional food team, and Dave Beveridge, Global Managing Parter and Shearman & Sterling, will introduce farmers to some of the major legal issues that arise as challenges in the development of new farm businesses and establish when farmers should seek legal advice. Using case studies, strategies for business formation, risk management, and land access will be addressed.
