With the goal of conserving resources on the property, Stone Barns Center and Blue Hill at Stone Barns work together to design and improve their food waste system. In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to tour this system's waste cycle. You will see it from start to finish: kitchen food scrap organization, waste-fed pigs and cooking with heat generated from a forced-air compost bin.
