Raina Turner
Raina Turner is a staunch proponent of employing sustainable solutions to human challenges by emulating nature’s time-tested patterns and strategies. She currently serves as Operational Efficiency Coordinator for HABESHA, Inc., most recently completing a Bamboo Training workshop in Ethiopia and supporting the Urban Green Jobs Training program in partnership with The Nature Conservancy’s urban conservation initiative. Raina’s passion for creating healthy sustainable communities, locally and abroad, shifted her career focus from merely advertising the issues to engaging in global research for local solution generation, relationship development and increasing community members’ self-sufficiency. In addition to her work with HABESHA, she also owns and operates Sustainable Community Solutions Network; managing a network of 2000 individuals and organizations dedicated to sustainable development in communities across the African diaspora.
